At Stonebridge City Farm we are proud of the sustained links we have made with local organisations based around Nottingham. We've had visits from a variety of organisations over the years and are always happy to welcome new groups.
Our Team Volunteer Days are very popular with small and large organisations alike. These volunteer days enable us to tackle important site development and maintenance work around the farm. They provide you and your team an opportunity to work together outside in a non-typical work environment, alongside our staff and volunteers. It will give you and your team the opportunity to help with the upkeep of the farm and a HUGE contribution to our charity.
Projects may vary according to weather or season but include – maintenance, building animals shelters, painting and various gardening tasks.
You will be supervised by a member of our staff, briefed on Health and Safety and will be able to purchase snacks and drinks. Feel free to come and have a look around the farm to get an idea of what you will be doing before you book.
If you and your company are looking for something a bit different for your team building days then feel free to get in touch.
Contact tvd@stonebridgecityfarm.com to organise your visit.
I bet the team from HSBC didn't expect to be making a sofa for Santa out of bags of compost when they arrived at the farm that morning. But that's exactly what we got them to do!

We are always blow away at how generous the various Boots teams are! Official quote from our TVD co-ordinator " Great team working well together in very smelly steamy manure conditions. Stuck it out in the morning and then opted for fresher air tasks in the afternoon." What more could you want!

This big team from Boots really got to work on their green thumbs during their visit. We got them to build some planters in the vegetable garden, plenty of weeding and trimming back bushes and hedges.
They were a great team with lots of fun and camaraderie!

We also took advantage of the dry weather and got some painting done too!

The team from Medicity helped us complete the pathway for our Woodland Trail. They were raring to go and were in high spirits all day.

We have recently had 2 visits from the team at Xylem and our maintenance team really put them both to work! The first team came to us all the way back in March and they were tasked with flattening some of the ground in the playpark ready for the Easter holidays. They also helped fixed the duck pond, a regular task for our TVDs!
The second group joined us in July and really helped us out with loads of gardening, trimming bushes and weeding. They really went above and beyond to help with other duties such as painting, clearing of wood and installing anti-slip mats.
Xylem provide innovative water solutions around the world so we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to ask for their advice about the farm!
More information about Xylem and the work they do can be found here: https://www.xylem.com/en-uk/
Nottingham Building Society has supported us for a number of years and has been given variety of tasks on their team volunteer days.
This time they were asked to clean up the duck paddock, which is no easy feat when George the goose is loose! They did a cracking job and the ducks, geese and chickens are very happy with their tidy paddock!
