We hope all is well.
This week has been another eventful one at the farm. As you can imagine, things have become overgrown and the grounds need some TLC. With this in mind, the farm does look very green with the overgrown playground and gardens. There are many things that we have to do before we consider reopening the farm and we will only reopen the farm once we have everything in place to safely do so.
Additionally, we were able to send out another 40 meals for homeless shelters around Nottingham – thank you to all those involved with this provision and their continued efforts. On the menu this week was potato salad, mixed vegetables and pork chops. For dessert Kristina prepared a cornflake base cheesecake with a slice of pineapple.
We made a silly mistake and painted the front doors with interior wall paint, meaning that we had to remove the paint which took its time.
Although many of you cannot attend the farm at the moment, we will continue to support you through providing resource packs and posting on the volunteer Facebook page.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support during this difficult time.
