We hope you are well and remaining safe of course
This week has been another busy week at the farm. The team popped onto the farm again this week to help prepare meal packages for the homeless shelter. This week Kristina and Karen prepared leek and potato soup, jacket potatoes served with either chili / tuna or beans. Once completed, the food was then sent out into the café for packaging, where Ryan and Heather were geared up and ready to go. Once again, Nottingham City Homes came to the farm to collect the food and deliver it to those who need it.
All in all – job well done and another act of kindness completed!
In regards to the animals, Sooty has been a little rebel again, helping himself to a few goodies out of the barn – he is such the character, we all love him here! Kevin is doing well although it has dropped a few degrees in recent days. One thing is for sure, he loves his basking spot in his enclosure.
Of course, we are all saddened by not having the whole of our wonderful community on the farm, but we are continuously thinking about you and you are all in our minds.
We all want to say a big thank you to everyone who is involved with us at this time, from the volunteers staying in touch on Facebook, to the kind-hearted people who continue to donate food for the animal. Without you all, we would not be a community of amazing people – so thank you once again!
WE LOVE YOUR PHOTOS - we’ve had some great ones your activities – food, plants, music, etc. Please keep them coming to Ryan@stonebridgecityfarm.com
